Sunday Afternoons at 4:00 pm

We join together on Sunday afternoons to enjoy each other, enjoy God and to enjoy His word. We invite you to arrive a few minutes early to grab a cup of coffee/tea and something to eat (all free). At 4:00 we start with a short welcome, then we worship God through song. During this time we encourage people to contribute prayers, a scripture, or something God may be impressing on them to encourage the church. (1 Cor. 14:26) Then we have a time of teaching from the Bible. At the end all are welcome to stay for more coffee and food. We also invite anyone who would like prayer for anything to stick around and receive prayer.

We are so grateful to Central Lutheran Church for allowing us to share space with them! The main entrance and parking are in the back of the building. Turn onto North 4th from North Tacoma Ave. and take a left into the parking lot.

The Alpha Course

Alpha is a fantastic introductory course to Christianity. We encourage everyone at NCC to attend the Alpha course. In fact, we treat the Alpha Course as the first step into small group life at NCC. Topics include: Who is Jesus?, Why did Jesus Die?, How and Why Should I Pray?, Who is the Holy Spirit?, How Can I be Filled with the Holy Spirit? and many more. The evenings include a free meal, a short talk and a time of discussion.

The Alpha Marriage Course

The Alpha Marriage Course is an 8 week course designed to strengthen strong marriages and build up struggling marriages. Each night we gather as a large group to watch a video teaching on marriage and then we spend time as couples discussing the topic. There is no 'group work' and you are not required to share anything about your marriage to others. Dessert and coffee are served and childcare will be provided.

Foundations

Foundations is the next step after Alpha. Foundations is an exciting 10 week small group that explains who we are and what we believe as a local church.

Prayer and Worship Mornings

Once a month we gather on a Sunday morning at 711 St. Helens to pray and worship. We believe that it's Jesus who builds the church and we go to Him to ask Him for a city, a nation and for the nations. These mornings are the heartbeat of the church and we encourage all to attend.

Small Groups

We have small groups that gather all over the city in peoples homes, coffee shops, and parks to share life together, make disciples, and to reach out to our city.
